That is the territory here. Psychological safety, in its published sense, is a shared belief that the group is safe for interpersonal risk-taking: that asking a question, admitting an error or offering a half-formed idea will not be punished. Evidence craft for climate writing
Use the construct's own measurement tradition to keep yourself honest. Psychological safety has been assessed with published instruments, and knowing what those instruments ask about tells you which behaviors are actually diagnostic. Describe the construct's measured components rather than inventing your own list.
Incivility literature is specific about consequences. Published work connects uncivil behavior in professional education to attrition, to reduced help-seeking and to error, which gives your argument consequences beyond discomfort. Handle real incidents carefully or not at all. Where you use a real climate failure, de-identify it thoroughly, say that you have, and write it without heat. An incident described with visible anger is read as a grievance regardless of how accurate it is.
