NR-444 Week 6 usually belongs to evaluation: taking the instrument you named in planning and administered at delivery, reading its results against your outcome objectives one by one, and saying what the intervention achieved in terms someone else could verify. In the 144-hour community course this is the stage that separates the variant from its 96-hour sibling most sharply, because a delivered project produces real numbers, and real numbers force a verdict the proposal-only version never has to render. Your section may print this as NR 444 or NR444; it is the same course. Chamberlain publishes no syllabi outside Canvas. What NR-444 Week 6 asks for
What does evaluation look like at a folding table? Picture the hour after a session ends: chairs half stacked, the center's custodian waiting, and a student counting exit cards into two piles by the answer to question one. Nine cards came back from eleven participants. Seven named two warning signs correctly; two named one; the free-text line on three cards says some version of bring this to the evening group. That small pile is a complete evaluation data set, and the written work this week asks you to treat it with the same discipline a researcher would bring to a larger one: report what was measured, how, on how many, with what result against each objective, and with what honesty about what so small a measure can claim.
Why do evaluation write-ups fail more often than evaluations do? Because students grade their own project instead of measuring it. The rubric territory here rewards a specific sequence: objective restated, instrument and administration recalled, result reported in counts, objective marked met, partly met or not met, and the judgment defended from the numbers. Papers that skip to the intervention was successful have abandoned that sequence, and papers that quietly change what an objective meant so the result can clear it have done something worse. Faculty put the plan and the evaluation side by side; drift between them is the most commonly circled defect at this stage.
What about the process side? A delivered project has two report cards: outcomes in the audience and process in the project. Attendance against target, materials out, timing held, partner satisfied. You marked these in the implementation account; the evaluation revisits them analytically, asking which process shortfalls explain which outcome shortfalls. The session that drew half its expected audience did not fail its knowledge objective because the teaching was weak; it failed its reach because the flyer went up four days late. Tracing those threads is the analysis the rows pay for.

Rebuild the objective-instrument pairs before touching results
List each outcome objective beside the instrument that was supposed to measure it. If delivery forced a substitution, say so here, and evaluate against what actually ran, noting the substitution's weakness.

Report results as counts with denominators
Seven of nine returned cards, five of six demonstrations completed unassisted. Percentages of tiny denominators mislead; the count is the honest unit at community-project scale, and it is the unit graders check.

Render one verdict per objective, in the objective's own terms
Met, partly met, not met, decided by the criterion the objective itself set. Resist retrofitting: if the objective said two warning signs and most participants named one, the finding is partly met, and the paper is stronger for saying so.

Explain results through process, not through blame
Connect outcome shortfalls to process facts you recorded: timing, turnout, room, materials. The audience is never the problem in a community evaluation; the design's fit with the audience is, and that framing is graded.

State the measure's limits in two or three sentences
Small numbers, self-report, one time point, no comparison group. Name the limits plainly and stop; a student project does not need a methods critique, only the honesty that keeps claims inside the data.

Convert every shortfall into a recommendation with an owner
Move the session to the evening group, pair the flyer with the pantry's text list, add a second teach-back round. A recommendation names who could act on it: the partner, a future student, the site. That is what makes it real.

Evidence craft for community evaluation
The instrument is a citable artifact; describe it exactly. How many items, what format, administered when, by whom, returned how. A result is only as interpretable as its instrument, and two sentences of description buy the whole results section its credibility.
Never let a percentage travel without its count. At this scale, seventy-eight percent means seven of nine, and the second form is the one that tells the truth about weight. Lead with the count; the percentage may follow in parentheses if the rubric or your instructor favors it.
Compare against your own baseline, not an imagined one. If you ran a pre-question, compare post against pre and say how many individuals moved. If you did not, say the design measures endpoint knowledge only, and do not imply change you cannot show.
Qualitative scraps are data when handled as data. Free-text lines and de-identified spoken comments can be grouped, counted and quoted in fragments. Three of nine cards asking for an evening session is a finding with a number on it, not an anecdote.
Five mistakes that cost points in this week's territory
- Success declared before results are shown. A verdict in the first paragraph tells the grader the numbers were fitted to a conclusion.
- Objectives quietly rewritten. Evaluating a softer objective than the plan stated is the fastest credibility loss available at this stage.
- Percentages hiding tiny denominators. Sixty-seven percent of a six-person session is four people, and the grader will do that arithmetic even if the paper does not.
- Blaming the audience. Low turnout and low scores are design-fit findings; framing them as participant failure fails the community-partnership row.
- Recommendations without owners. Suggestions addressed to nobody read as filler; every change worth stating has someone positioned to make it.
