Evidence craft for life cycle nutrition

Requirements are published by stage, so cite them by stage. Reference intakes are issued for defined age and condition groups, and quoting a figure without saying which group it belongs to makes it uncheckable. Name the group, the issuing body and the year in the sentence carrying the number.

Growth belongs on a chart, not in an adjective. Statements about a child's size mean something only against a reference population and across time. Give the measure, the reference standard you are reading it against, and the direction of travel over at least two points.
